Helen Vonka Joins ESI
ESI is delighted to welcome Helen Vonka to the groundwater team at ESI.
Helen has over 15 years of hydrogeological experience both within the regulatory industry (Environment Agency) and environmental consultancy. She has worked in water resources planning and water resources hydrogeology in the National Rivers Authority Thames Region, and then returned to the Environment Agency Thames Region to work in the water resource and contaminated land groundwater area after gaining 6 years of consultancy experience in California, USA. Helen has experience in groundwater resource evaluation, hydrogeological characterization, water resource legislation and groundwater modelling. She has also had extensive experience in the management of groundwater and surface water monitoring and permitting at hazardous and non-hazardous solid-waste facilities in the US. She has been responsible for the development and implementation of groundwater monitoring programs, hydrogeologic evaluation, and the preparation of hydrogeological characterization reports.
