ESI Ltd to promote and sell MIKE SHE in UK

ESI and DHI have signed an agreement, which makes ESI the UK agent for MIKE SHE. MIKE SHE is a dynamic, user-friendly modeling tool that can simulate the entire land phase of the hydrologic cycle.
MIKE SHE is developed by DHI, the leading, independent, international consultants in hydrological modelling software and consultancy. This is an expansion of the partnership, since ESI has already successfully introduced DHI-WASY's FEFLOW in the UK. “MIKE SHE is the right tool for many projects where the interaction between surface water and groundwater is crucial” says Mike Streetly, Director of ESI's water resources group.
He continues: “we see a growing need for this type of modelling in the UK, for instance as part of studies driven by the EU Water Framework Directive. In addition, the new capability of MIKE SHE to integrate ecological and hydrological models will be essential to many studies in the UK, particularly the next round of the National Environment Programme”.
