Following continued growth we are seeking to appoint the following key staff member to our team in Reading:

Director / Principal Land Quality (Reading)

An experienced senior specialist with a background in the petrochemical and/or property sectors, conversant with the PPC regime and regulation of Part IIA sites.  Excellent scope for rapid career advancement. Prerequisites are a proven technical ability, strong leadership and management skills, an industry profile and contacts and the ambition to successfully develop new clients and win business while growing and nurturing a team of talented professionals. In return we are offering excellent remuneration package including equity participation.

Primary Purpose:  

Strategic planning, development and delivery of business plan for a business stream within the company to achieve growth targets and business objectives set.  To include the management, design and delivery of projects to meet clients’ requirements for high quality strategic advice and solutions to environmental problems, and the development of staff. 

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Leading further development of company services to petrochemical and property industry

  •  Design and develop business strategy to meet corporate targets and ensure they are met

  •  Reporting to the Board on business performance

  • Contributing to corporate development strategy and Identifies potential markets and pro-actively develops and implements sales plans, promoting cross selling to existing clients

  • Ensuring that the necessary skills and resources are available within the team to deliver the business plan

  • Maintain positions on industry committees and other forums of significance, and displays technical leadership

  • Development of innovations and initiatives to support the sales and marketing plan

  • Overall responsibility for delivering the volume of work required and successful growth envisaged within the business plan

Salary: Excellent remuneration package including equity participation.
