Ground Source Energy Support for Building and Property Owners
A well designed Ground Source Energy (GSE) system will provide an effective renewable energy solution for a building’s heating and cooling needs if the system is developed at the early stages of the buildings design. GSE can also offer sustainable and cost effective solutions to existing buildings when combined with good insulation. ESI and our partners have proven experience at developing refurbishment solutions for larger properties. It is likely to meet the requirements for a sustainable low carbon building and may attract guaranteed government payments through the Renewable Heat Incentive.
To realise these benefits and deliver a sustainable, low carbon and economic heating and cooling solution, the Ground Source Energy scheme must be designed to match a building’s energy demand profile.
The first phase of any project is to discuss your requirements with an ESI consultant. In most cases a low cost desk based site check twill be recommended to assess the suitability of the site location to support a Ground Source Energy scheme.
